Hello AMS members!

The 2018-2019 programs are in full swing. The November Bach/Bernstein themed program and March public concerts were huge successes and great fun! Our April public concert will have AMS traveling to CSU Pueblo’s Hoag Hall. Please mark April 7th at 2:30 pm on your calendars.

Notes:

Our efforts to increase membership has been very successful. Our membership has increased by 15! Please maintain the effort as we continue to grow. And our membership hair color has become more diverse!

State of the Organization:

I am very encouraged with the direction AMS is going. Over the last three years there has been a lot of fine collaborative works featuring guitar, woodwind, string, voice, and piano. Through the work of William Malone, AMS has developed a close relationship with PPCC and is working towards the same with CSU Pueblo. Through the efforts of Jim Bosse and Keith Simon the public performers now have the opportunity to receive some visibility on KCME’s culture zone. What I find most gratifying is AMS is providing performance opportunity and venues to its members for “fun” collaborative musical works that you all may have always wanted to play.
